In celebration of the upcoming ETH merge, Huobi Global is holding an “ETH Team Challenge” trading contest. Starting today, users can join a team and trade ETH to win rewards based on their trading volume.

🔹How To Team Up
To participate in the contest, users can either create a team as a team leader or join a team created by others. Participants are not permitted to join two teams at the same time.
🔹What Benefits Do Team Leaders Enjoy?
If your team ranks in the top 7, as a team leader, you will be entitled to 30% of the team’s total reward, with the other members sharing the remaining 70% based on their respective trading volumes.
A minimum of 1 ETH should be traded in order to qualify as a team leader. Your team can consist of a maximum of 10 people or a minimum of one person.
During the “ETH Team Challenge” trading contest, only volume from ETH trading pairs are eligible for volume calculation. Volume generated before the event’s trading period will not qualify for calculation.
🔹Rewards Calculation
The daily prize pool and total prize pool have a direct relationship with spot trading fees from ETH and the weighting factor. Users can refer to the formula below to calculate the daily prize pool and the total prize pool.
Daily prize pool (daily ranking) = Spot trading fees generated by all participants in ETH trading pairs on that day * Prize pool weighting factor * 70%
Total prize pool (final ranking) = Spot trading fees generated by all participants in ETH trading pairs during the entire contest trading period * Prize pool weighting factor * 30%
The teams will be ranked based on their total ETH spot trading volumes. The higher the volume, the higher the ranking.
The top 7 teams for each trading day (Aug 18–28) will share the daily ranking prize pool. The Daily Ranking results will be posted via announcement at the end of each trading day.
Rewards for Daily Ranking:
At the end of the contest trading period, the final top 7 teams will share the Final Ranking prize pool.
Rewards for Final Ranking:
The champion team in the Final Ranking will be awarded an extra reward of 7 ETH, which will be shared equally among all team members.
Members of winning teams will have their rewards delivered to their spot accounts within 10 working days after the end of the event.
